Richard Amp is the founder of the band Amp, as well as being one of the key players in the early 90s experimental, psychedelic scene in Bristol. "Moi Non Plus" is an intimate, piano-based album written and recorded in various locations over a two year period utilizing found sounds and 'available' pianos. The music is a reaction to environmental conditions and those field recordings, evoking an emotional response to the sense of abstraction created by random sound. The result is a collection of emotive compositions that successfully bridge the divide between the romantic and conceptual, creating a soundtrack to the forgotten or neglected spaces of contemporary life.
